TERMS OF REFERENCE

OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE

UNDE has established EAP liaison officers in the regions to ensure that there is a point of contact in the regions for EAP.

SELECTION OF THE UNDE EAP LIAISON OFFICERS

The liaison officers will be the vice-president for the region.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNDE EAP OPI

The roles and responsibilities of the UNDE EAP liaison officers shall include:

• will be the point of contact between the UNDE EAP OPI and their region on EAP issues;
• will be the point of contact for UNDE Locals in their region;
• will be the point of contact for EAP chairpersons/ EAP managers / regional coordinators with UNDE in their regions;
• will attend Referral Agent Development Days (RADDs) in the region;
• will promote EAP within their region;
• will be required to take the RA course upon assuming the responsibilities of the UNDE EAP liaison officer for their region.
