NATIONAL GS COMMITTEE—MINUTES OF MEETING

The Harassment Policy was read.

The committee selected the final design for the workplace poster, post cards, and stickers. The wording for the posters and post cards will be "Employer of Choice?".

Three hundred large posters and three thousand post cards will be distributed to the members, along with stickers. Members are to sign their name to the post cards and send them to their Member of Parliament.

The final wording for the letter which will be sent to all members was finalized and several pictures were selected for the workplace poster.

All Committee members together with the staff from head office participated in the “Red Friday” kick off on Parliament Hill, in support of our troops and their families.

A review of statistics of GS workers, with emphasis on the age and retirement of GS members.

Preparation of tool kits for presentation to Local Presidents Conference to be held at the end of October by committee members Glenn Horman and Mike Roberts, with back up by Marie Kennedy.

At this time, we do not see a requirement for the committee to meet four times per year.
